ECC9 Bursary Programme
The 9th EuChemS Chemistry Congress (ECC9) is delighted to announce the availability to bursaries designed to support delegates in attending the Congress.
The Bursary Programme will be facilitated by the following ECC9 Partner Societies. Each Partner Society has established its own criteria for its Bursary Programme.
Applications must be submitted directly to the respective Society through the links below.
Bursary Submissions will close on Sunday, 17 March 2024.
Institute of Chemistry of Ireland (ICI)
If you are graduate member of the ICI, you may be eligible to apply for an ECC9 student bursary. Further information including the bursary applications process may be found here
German Chemical Society (GDCh)

Swiss Chemical Travel Award (a joint program between the SCS and the Academies of Natural Sciences).

Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC)
The RSC is providing up to 30 bursaries for early career researchers, who are members of the RSC based worldwide, to attend this meeting.
The bursaries are for £500 which should contribute towards registration, travel, and accommodation to attend 9th EuChemS Chemistry Congress. Applications must be submitted by 5pm on Tuesday 2nd April 2024. Successful awardees will be notified by Friday 12th April 2024.

To be eligible you must be a member of the Royal Society of Chemistry and actively undertaking a PhD course in the chemical sciences, or a researcher within 10 years (excluding any career breaks) of your most recent qualification, or a researcher undertaking a career break. Your application must include:
• a covering letter, explaining how you will benefit from attending 9th EuChemS Chemistry Congress
• a brief CV and publication list (no more than 3 pages)
• a copy of your abstract submitted for presentation at 9th EuChemS Chemistry Congress
